About the Voter Guide

On June 3rd of this year, New York City held a special election to temporarily fill a vacancy in Council District 30. This fall, voters in district 30 must elect a Council member to serve out the remainder of the term, which runs through the end of 2009.

Special elections often have low voter turnout. We urge voters in district 30 to read the candidate profiles in this official, nonpartisan New York City Voter Guide and go to the polls to elect their representative to the City Council.

Click “The Race in District 30” above to read candidate profiles and learn more about the election in district 30.

2008 Judicial Voter GuideRegardless whether you live in Council District 30, you are probably voting for one or more judicial positions in the November 4th general election.
