37th City Council District

1. What is the most important issue in Council District 37 you would address if elected?

The moral health of the health of the citizenry of Council District 37 is in a dire situation. Parents in this district are not provided with the proper tools needed from their elected officials. Parents are constantly being neglected as the primary caregivers of a bright future for their children. There is too much idle time and a lack of playgrounds provided for a terrible situation. Parents of the 37th district need a new council member with a fresh outlook to address concerns in their neighborhoods and provide concrete solutions.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

An issue that affects everyone is foreclosure and Homeownership. For those facing foreclosure, an active effort by your city council office to address foreclosure in it's district can and should be a top priority. It is not acceptable for a councilmen to tackle this matter head on, with services openly available for their constituents. For those residents renting, many who have rented the same residency for over 10 years, should be provided services to assist them in buying a home. If these programs are available in our district, it should be made more apparent, more obvious. Daily I see people struggling with these issues. All residents should made more aware of city program available to deal with foreclosures and homeowners.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

As a resident of the 37th council district it's a time for change in direction, a change from stagnation and complacency to a productive, more secure 37th. Twenty four hours a day and seven days of the week I will ensure district 37's problems and needs will be met.
