1. What is the most important issue in Council District 51 you would address if elected?

Residents of the South Shore face grueling commutes filled with traffic congestion, pot holes and limited public transportation outlets. We must find a better way! As taxpayers, we deserve an expansion of public transportation that will make SI as accessible as the other boroughs. I will work to find new means of transportation to the South Shore and advance roadway improvement projects allowing Islanders to decrease their commute time, combat traffic congestion and eliminate pot holes.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

I will work tirelessly to ensure that our Teachers, Police & Firemen have the support and resources needed to be effective and safe in our community. I will bring a common sense approach to development by preserving the past, while building the future by: (1) Revitalizing Local Businesses; (2) Supporting Historical Preservations; and (3) Investing in Environmental Sustainability.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

My first hand business experience has trained me to study how places operate and can become more efficient. In my business travels, I have seen the graffiti-less towns, pothole-free roads and manicured streets. The South Shore has this potential. I have the experience, motivation and dedication to reduce congested roads, traffic delays, overcrowded classrooms and pollution, and envision a better South Shore for us all.
