1. What is the most important issue in the city you would address if elected?
Reducing the size, scope, reach and cost of the city government. Rather than being the servant of the people, government has become an increasing burden on its citizens. Productive citizens and businesses are subjected to ever-increasing taxes to finance failing programs, willingly non-productive people, and wasteful spending. It is time to consider taxpayers first.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
Return to an emphasis on the basics of education: Reading, writing, and arithmetic. Once these are mastered by the student, we can expand the scope of their education. I would seek to find waste in the bureaucracy of the Department of Education and redirect these resources to the classroom.
My administration would foster the values held by many of our citizens such as traditional marriage and protection for the unborn.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
My philosophy of government. I would seek to represent all of New York City's citizens, without regard to special interest groups. My plan would be to shrink government by finding waste, eliminating duplicate departments, ending programs and projects of dubious value, reigning-in the hordes of ticket agents who harass our citizens and businesses, and creating a business-friendly climate.
