Candidate Statement
It has been an honor to represent our community in Albany for the last 8 years. We have accomplished many things during this time:
secured over $550 million in funding for NYCHA developments; ensured the Second Avenue Subway is funded to begin construction with over $1.2 billion; attained additional support to fix our City's crumbling public transportation system and put forward a plan to fix it! We passed the Secure Choice Savings Program that will give 3.5 million New Yorkers access to a workplace retirement savings program. And we fought to protect 6 senior citizen centers from closing.
The list continues but more remains to be done. We need to keep fighting for our seniors, more affordable housing, and we must bring back excellence to public schools. With your support we'll keep moving our community forward!
