A quality education, affordable housing and community unity are issues to which I remain committed. With everyone pulling and working together it is possible to achieve tremendous progress in these areas.
A quality education lays the foundation for the success of our children’s future endeavors. Working together, parents, teachers, administrators and elected officials can make a significant difference in the quality of education our children obtain.
While we have made great strides in the area of housing, it has not been enough to fill the demand. The revitalization of Bronx County must be ongoing with a commitment to build true “affordable” housing. Land is one of our greatest resources, as such, we must develop it wisely. I look forward to continuing to advocate for quality and affordable housing that meets the needs of all and not just some.
The community and the police working together as one will make a significant difference in the quality of life in our community. We must continue to be involved with the local precincts to insure that the public and the community are familiar with each other. We can no longer allow our communities to be held hostage by the social ills that plague them. Together we must make our community work.
I will continue to be a voice at City Hall for those who have gone unheard.
