My experience as an accountant, husband, father and businessman will allow me to effectively serve you in the NYC Council. With each passing day our community is confronted with new problems; overcrowded schools, traffic congestion, tax increases & service cuts threaten our quality of life. It is more important then ever to have a Councilmember who knows how to get results. I will work tirelessly to ensure that our community’s needs are addressed. Like Councilman Mike Abel & Senator Frank Padavan my loyalty will be to the people of Queens-period! That is why I have earned their endorsements in this election.
With its proximity to Long Island, easy access to Manhattan, good schools & residential setting our community has long been an ideal place to raise a family. We are now faced with becoming the victims of our own success. Well-meaning school reforms threaten our best schools. Over-development & zoning loopholes erode our way of life. Tax increases make it harder for our seniors & working families to make ends meet & proposed cuts to essential services undermine safety & quality of life.
As your Councilmember I pledge to work hard to protect all our residents whether they are middle class homeowners, working families or seniors on fixed incomes. I will work to improve our schools without harming our successes. I will fight for preservation of essential services. I will use 32-years of experience as a CPA to fight for fiscal responsibility to ensure we can meet our obligations without driving away the middle class.
If you entrust me with your vote on Election Day, I promise to bring hard work, experience, dedication and good judgment to the City Council.
