1. What is the most important issue in Council District 23 you would address if elected?
The entire city is facing a financial short-fall. Budget cuts will be necessary. We need to plan for recovery and improve conditions for business. Redundant agencies need to be combined for tax savings.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
There are many: educational options, safety, property values, government mandates, keeping taxes down. We need to limit government control of our families, businesses, health care and economy.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
I'm the only candidate for this district that is not registered in the same party that currently controls the City Council! Even the Republican candidate is a Democrat. Both socially and fiscally conservative, I offer a reasonable alternative to the twin dynasties: the Democrat machine and the Weprins. City government should work for you, not just for one family.
I'm the conservative choice for City Council in 2009.
If everybody's thinking alike, somebody isn't thinking.
