1. What is the most important issue in Council District 23 you would address if elected?
I plan to continue fighting for our public schools by increasing parental involvement, empowering school superintendents and allowing our local school districts to operate with more autonomy. As a Councilmember I will ensure that these changes are implemented properly and shift the focus from test scores to educating our children.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
I will continue to champion senior issues and protect the rights of co-op owners. In addition, I will work to increase transparency in city government, and fight for the preservation our parks and green spaces.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
I will bring my 15 years of governmental, legislative, and community experience to City Hall. That experience will enable me to be the most effective advocate for my community.
