1. What is the most important issue in Council District 28 you would address if elected?
The most important issue is Predatory Lending and the alarming foreclosure rate in our district. These 'lenders' are making hundreds of thousands of dollars at our expense. Our neighbors have been victims of these practices that are occurring at alarming rates in our community. Thus creating a ripple effect, in an increase in crime and a decline in the quality of life.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
I will fight to get more jobs for my constituents, fight for more Economic Development. I will fight for small businesses, the true lifeblood of our great city. I will fight to ensure that students are well equipped in the classrooms to compete with other students. I will fight to preserve the quality of life for our Seniors and preserve our Day Care Centers and encourage early childhood learning. I will fight for Quality of Life issues including the over saturation of multi-dwelling homes and crime.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
I am the best candidate because I am not only a lifelong resident of the nth Councilman District, but, as your representative at the NYC Council, I have delivered on my promises to fund millions of dollars for programs for our Seniors and youth, infrastructure repairs and Capital projects. I continue to fight to improve the quality of life for our families.
My experience and commitment to the nth Councilman District is unwavering. I am a fighter and will continue to fight to stop Predatory Lending, Foreclosures, and the increase in crime. I will fight for more jobs and job-training opportunities for men and woman in our community.
I am the best candidate because I am a man of my word.
