43rd City Council District

1. What is the most important issue in Council District 43 you would address if elected?

The most important issue facing the 43rd Council District is protecting the residents from overburdening property taxes and enhancing the quality of life that serves to make the 43rd District a wonderful place to live.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

If re-elected I plan to continue to address the over crowding of our community's public schools. We have worked to find locations for new schools and have worked to plan the expansion of existing schools. I will work to ensure that our new schools are built and our existing schools enhanced.

Additionally I will continue to fight the many instances of unfair ticketing practices of many city enforcement agents.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

No other candidate can match the funding I've delivered for local projects in parks, in school, in libraries, and in hospitals. All of these projects aid in enhancing our quality of life and in increasing property values.

I am the only candidate willing to standup to the Mayor when it is in the best interest of the community. Opposing property tax increases, stopping the tolling of the Brooklyn Bridge, and voting "No" on the Mayor's extension of his own term of office are postions I've advocated in this regard.
