I'm a dad, husband, dedicated community leader and a decorated US Marine inducted into the NYS Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame. I was born in Brooklyn and have lived 34 of my 45 years in Staten Island. I actively serve this district everyday through my work and volunteerism for more than a decade. As a union member (UFT), teacher, and certified mediator, I've concentrated my efforts on the most vulnerable youth of our city. There's a great chance that you personally know someone who I've helped already.

I believe in the promise of the American Dream and that the dream we all seek is not a zero-sum game.
